An idea is any thought or note you want to remember and act on. Ideas move through a simple lifecycle: Active → Review → Done (or Archived). The review workflow helps you decide what to nurture and what to let go.
During a review session, Prod shows you your oldest unreviewed ideas one at a time. You can:
Prod uses iCloud to sync across your Apple devices. If sync isn't working, try the following:
Yes — when iCloud sync is enabled, your ideas are stored in your personal iCloud account. They sync automatically and are backed up as part of your iCloud backup. Prod itself does not maintain any servers with your data.
Your ideas remain in iCloud and will reappear if you reinstall Prod and sign in with the same Apple ID. To permanently delete your data, go to Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Prod and delete the app data there.
A Prod is a timely nudge to revisit an idea and keep making progress on it. Rather than a generic daily reminder, each Prod is tied to a specific idea — so when it fires, you know exactly what to think about. Prods keep your best ideas from going quiet and help you build a consistent habit of turning thoughts into action.
Open any idea and tap Set Nudge to choose when you'd like to be reminded about it. You can also set a default nudge cadence for all ideas in Settings. Make sure notifications are enabled for Prod in your device Settings.
Yes — with Prod Pro. Pro unlocks custom nudge intervals per idea, so you can set each one to fire at exactly the right cadence for that idea. Pro also surfaces your Creativity Patterns — insights into when you're most productive and likely to act on an idea, whether that's mornings, evenings, or a specific time of day. Combined, Prods and Patterns help you work with your natural rhythm rather than against it.

Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find your Prod purchase, and request a refund.
Yes. As long as you're signed in with the same Apple ID, your purchase is shared across all your supported Apple devices at no extra cost.
No. Your ideas are your ideas — they are stored locally on your device and synced privately to your personal iCloud account. Prod does not have access to your content and does not send it to any server. Privacy isn't an afterthought for us — see our Privacy Policy for full details.
